The short version

Salami Board has no accounts, no sign-ups, and no database of users. The betting lines, sides, and slate history you enter are stored only in your own browser. The site displays third-party advertising, which involves the standard advertising cookies described below.

Data stored in your browser

The tracker saves your slate data — the salami line you enter, the side you pick, and per-date game results — using your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. You can erase it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this website.

Contact form

If you use the contact form on the About page, the name, email address, and message you submit are processed and stored by our hosting provider, Netlify, so we can read and reply to your message. This information is used only to respond to you and is governed by Netlify's privacy policy in transit and storage. We don't use it for marketing or share it with anyone else.

Third-party data sources

To display live scores and estimate lines, your browser requests data directly from third-party services: MLB's Stats API (statsapi.mlb.com) for schedules and scores, ESPN's public scoreboard feed for game totals, and Google Fonts for typefaces. When your browser makes these requests, those services receive standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type, governed by their own privacy policies. We do not receive or store this information.

Advertising and cookies

This site does not currently display third-party advertising or set advertising cookies. If advertising is added in the future, this policy will be updated before it goes live to describe the ad provider, the cookies involved, and how to opt out of personalized ads.

Analytics

This site does not currently run its own analytics scripts. If that changes, this policy will be updated to describe what is collected.

Children

This site concerns sports betting and is intended for adults of legal betting age in their jurisdiction. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change with it. Questions about privacy can be sent through the contact form on the About page.
